Rob - a recent colleague wet met last week @ Cwmcarn did a fantastic job of leading 5 of us over 16 miles of some of the steepest climbs I've ever (not) done. Riding up many up them was not an option.

Some of the downhill bits were fantastic, though, especially the last, really long descent from Bicknoller Post back to below the car park by West Quantoxhead.

The trails were remarkably dry (other than the one where I slid out in the mud & smacked my bad knee again!). Great day out, and only a little snow left up there
